I think most of you know that my T is on medical leave (I haven't seen her since November 7, 2018.. She had some complications, so she spent more time in the hospital, but then they sent her home.
She offered text to me, as a way to "maintain the connection with me," but it soon became clear (to her, and sometime later, to me) that texting was only revving up my anxiety, and so, via text, told me that she could not text with me anymore. She directed me to listen to her outgoing voicemail, which would be updated at least weekly. Well, it's over a week, and the message hasn't changed. THAT is revving up my anxiety! So finally, I left a VM message, saying that I hoped she is okay.

Stay tuned.

Update: I heard from T. She'll be out on medical leave for even longer, because the bug she picked up in the hospital is hanging on, despite antibiotics.
This was on a voicemail she left me.
I've tried to identify how I feel about it and mostly, LC is sad. Big Cool feels numb.

I am glad that you heard something back, even if it was not exactly what you wanted the news to be.
