It's too much of an addiction. I need other things to do and other ways to cope. I am also wanting to cut off my Facebook addiction so hopefully i can

I read a story recently in which the narrator had been part of the marshmallow experiment. They told him the rules—one now, two if you wait. He asked how long he had to wait to get three.

I have never played Facebook games but I've played app games so i get the addiction there

Part of the big issue for me is it's winter and i feel trapped. Once it's nicer it's gonna be easier to cut back on these things

I think I read something here before where you can actually request a suspension on your account if you want to break the habit of posting. Because I think with suspension you can still come here to read but can’t sign in to type anything until the suspension ends. I’m not sure how it works with the voluntary suspension like if you choose the amount of time. I think you do if it’s voluntary and the mods choose to the amount of time if it’s involuntary, but with involuntary I think they send a private message saying you will be suspended, why and for how long.
Thanks for this!

Got 3 more questions on my homework done this morning so far. Did 5 last night after work. The first 9 questions each have a video to watch and then answer questions about. Still have 22 to go!! I have until Thursday night to finish, plus do the quiz and the lab and more discussion posts. I told H I'm going to need to spend some of the time we're on our trip, studying... i'm working 4 hours tomorrow early then we're leaving on our trip immediately after. it's mandatory weekend time, but my boss said i didn't have to since i have vacation Mon-Wed and it won't count as overtime pay, but I told him I love my team and I will anyway since he let me split my day up on thursday to go see L in the middle of the day. he said 'your team loves you too'. we do have an awesome team.

I would miss you DP.

I know what young me would have done. Sat in a corner hiding my face and not taking any marshmallows at all because I would be afraid of being wrong no matter which choice I made.

Haha which is not unlike current me in re: to going back to therapy or not.
Maybe L should offer marshmallows instead of water?

I have changed my mood to 'relaxed' because my walk did me some good earlier. I found a way to make (my orbit of, to relate to my class haha) walking around my subdivision 1.14 miles, by going outside of it for a piece.

I feel cranky and tired today, and I don't want to go anywhere, so I am having a baking day. I roasted the last of the storage pumpkins and had some leftover tomato soup, so I'm making tomato sandwich bread, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin cookies.

It smells really good in here, but I am still tired and cranky.

My daughter came to visit, cuddle with her furbabies and we went out to eat. I might have had a mental breakdown this morning trying to get my youngest to clean something. Lots of shame surrounding it, too bad I'm never going back to therapy. I'm exhausted from 4 hours sleep last night and some Extreme Drama with my sister and her husband which might lead to her moving back to the old homestead. Can I take a time out and possibly a nap?

I'm so exhausted from a 4-hour professional retreat today but forcing myself to still go out with H for an early date night (like, we'll be home by 8:30).
Thanks for this!

Puppy yoga was ok. Kinda a bummer. 25 people to share 5 puppies. Some of the yoga was relaxing but some a bit odd

Yoga is indeed very odd. I take it you didn't cry?
