I just did the lab (17 questions answered based on using an online planet simulator thingie) and the lab exit quiz both re: Kepler's Laws. I think I did pretty good on the lab, I won't know til prof grades it. I got an 80% on the exit quiz, there's only 5 questions so there's not much slack there, oh well. Now I need to finish the remaining 16 homework problems.

Does it work to help think what you would tell a client that misses you and try to turn that inward to try to take some of the weight out of feelings?
Thanks for this!

Trying to get a lot of it done today so I can have fun on my trip and not worry about it! I need to pack at some point. H got several pickup/deliveries today so he's out working. Oh, I forgot to mention yesterday he did another one of those really satisfying jobs where he picked up and delivered a body part to a hospital operating room. I didn't ask which part.

Wednesday. Weekends are always the worst for missing him because I have more free time to think about him...

That's Jersey, it's a good suggestion. I think it's such a young, young part of me that misses him that reasoning with the feelings is beyond what it's capable of hearing.

LOL! How is it “retreats” are so exhausting. Just made it home from a six hour chorus “retreat.” I’m wiped out. It’s great fun, but we started Rachmaninoff’s “The Bells” which is mentally taxing. What an odd piece! It will probably grow on me; they usually do. But right now it’s just takes way more concentration than I had the focus for after about 4 hours of rehearsal.

Thanks, I’m managing to have some fun. H said he actually kinda expected me to want to stay home (and would have been fine with it), and he was trying to figure out where he’d go. He was glad I joined him though.

Is it creepy if I make a wallet size pic of T to keep with me when I go for surgery? I would keep it in my wallet after that just to have when I feel sad etc.

If you are the only one who will know it's there, why does it matter? No one else can judge something as creepy they don't know the existence of.

pumpkin.jpg

Here is my day.

I had extra pumpkin so I made a chipotle-spiced pumpkin gingerbread which we will eat tonight.

I'm trying to get up the oomph to finish off my day's work by cleaning the boys' bathroom, which inevitably makes me grumpy because why can't nearly-grown folk (insert whatever it is that they really should be doing on their own, keeping in mind I am cleaning their bathroom--bleah!). 'Cause when I was a teen, naturally I was SUPER neat and tidy in all things....heh.
