Morning couchies. I'm up early and getting ready to head out to the hotel where the christmas in july event is happening today. Gotta be up there at 7 am to get all the setting up done, then the families start arriving at 11am. Gonna be a busy day!

One of the guys who was helping with the unloading/packing/loading up toys yesterday happened to mention that he has a friend who's getting rid of big tubs of yarn if anyone wanted it. I was like ooh! ooh! meeeee! My work friend who does this event has inspired me so i have decided to make some of those afghans I am so enamored of making (the star ones that I've made 6 of so far and given away 5) and donate them to someplace, maybe the local children's hospital, so heck yeah I want all that yarn for that project. I hope he is still able to get it for me.

Have a good day all, hugs and head nods all around as appropriate!
Hugs from:
Omers, Polibeth, SlumberKitty, unaluna
Thanks for this!

An economics exam that asks “which of these graphs best describes the market for paintings by Van Gogh?” is my kind of exam.

(If you know he’s dead it’s an easy question.)

I think this medication will be the end of me. three times a week I feel like I'm so exhausted I cant move and spouse has exactly zero sympathy for it. It's ok during the week as I'm working and can just drink coffee and get on with it.

Saturday when I have to interact is when everything falls apart which is even more exhausting.

I wish my therapist would email me back. I’m thinking of acting out.

You deserve so much better Scarlet. Those kind of feelings don't just go away because you change the subject.

There was another question about pie. What makes a pie larger and what makes it divided more evenly?

Okay, here.

One graph showed supply vertical and a normal demand curve.

One graph showed supply vertical and demand horizontal.

One graph showed normal supply and demand curves.

I'm struggling physically again today. I think the sudden increase in activity is wearing me out. I didn't get any discharge instructions to what to look for, so I'm just waiting for my wound clinic appt on Monday and my follow up with my pcp on tuesday.
H and I have been getting into it because he read my Facebook messenger chat with a friend where we were talking badly about him. I told him what he's been doing is unacceptable. Also found out that my cousin called one of my brothers while I was in the hospital. She told him I was in the hospital and asked him to come break my Hs legs or hands. Of course he said no but I was upset that she did that.
I'm trying to not call T this weekend. He's already been so helpful while I was in the hospital, so he needs a break from me.

Who wants to hear my great inheritance haul? One silver tray with family crest and motto, what looks like the complete collection of Wilbur Smith novels and a collection of those souvenir spoons.
I wonder if my step siblings and spawn got the money

As an aside, I'm mildly impressed you have a family motto

Hi couchies! Home from the Christmas in July event. We worked non-stop for 10.5 hours setting up, running, and packing up from the event. We didn't stop to eat and only drank a few sips of water here and there and the only time I sat down (once) was cuz I had to pee. haha! But it was a very successful day!! There were LOTS of happy kids, lots of big smiles and giggles and OOH'S and AAAH's and excitement as the kids came through and got to choose a toy. I'm exhausted but it was fun and so worth it.

My grade-grubbing student just email me to complain about a quiz question and said I was wrong about the answer. I took quiet pleasure in informing her it was her mistake--she had thought the prefix was ad- when it fact it was a-. Totally changes the meaning of the word.

The stress puppy student has been quiet lately, so the grade-grubber is now my major irritant.
