In my area there are a number of very experienced Ts in private practice who accept Medicaid/Medicare, along with other insurances. There are also those who accept no insurances. Have you checked beyond agencies?

Yes. I have heard that. I need to call my insurance and have them send me therapists that do take medicaid. Maybe I can find someone. Thanks for reminding me.

Hope this helps. Can you go to the Medicaid website for your state and search for the different therapists they cover? That’s how I’ve had to find providers who accept Medicare and/or Medicaid.

I'm just gonna call them. I just have my phone to get online. No computer. Calling will be easier.
