I am increasingly convinced that your therapist is entering a midlife crisis. We’ll know for sure if you see him driving a sports car with a busty blonde half his age and dressed like Info draped all over him.

I don’t like beards myself, but may the best beard win.

Oh, I've thought he's been in midlife crisis mode for a while now. I mean, his talking about his young, blonde, athlete interns to me at one point...though the thought of them dressed like Info adds another wrinkle! He was driving a Prius--wondering if he's switched to sports car.

I feel my dating history has been like 40% bearded guys. That includes goatees. (But no just soul patches, because that's weird.)

Waiting for my DV group to start. Still confused and upset that H has yet to be contacted to start the men's group. I don't understand why this is all falling on me. I'm triggered enough the past 2 days and really just want to
Possible trigger:

saw regular T today, she was so so supportive and encouraging about EMDR. I've missed her. EMDR starts up again on Tuesday and it's going to get tough, I have set an end date in my head though and that helps.

So it really starts to weigh on me. I discussed this with a friend on break today and she said that's true, but also she is happy for these days because it makes us question whether we do enough on the regular or hard days. I just think like when I got out of the hospital, that was a really rough time and lots of support then would have been great, and I think of all the people I know right now who are recovering from surgery or about to have surgery and if I am doing enough to show them that I care about them and their families and all that they are going through. Then I start to think I'm not and how I need to change all of that. So yay for Valentines, but wow, there's just so much more I need to be doing to show people that I care about them. It's overwhelming!!!!
You have such a good heart and generous spirit. Happy Valentine's Day!

most people do it barefoot that I've seen but that being said if you need shoes then wear shoes. It is all about what works for you. Yoga is meant to help you out. I love yoga so I say, try it.

agreed! I hate wearing socks and shoes, so barefoot it is for me...but whatever works best for you will be the most helpful

Going barefoot is the norm and there are some poses where shoes might make things harder (balancing especially or when you want to get a firm grip on the floor). But I would contact the studio/instructor and ask--I imagine they would try to accommodate you, especially in a beginning or restorative/slow class.

Even in the UK I've seen people wearing face masks. Could you maybe try online for the thermometer or a pharmacy? Our one also had the forehead ones for kids as well as the digital ones.
Hugs. The pharmacies are sold out, I'll definitely try online again Couch 211: The Stoffle couch

The only question i had to answer was am i amember of the society i said yes they approved me or rather my fake account as i still cant provide enough evidence to facebook to restore my proper profile
Thanks for this!

Took my son into a crisis walk in place and it ended up getting turned onto me as well. The therapist is talking to the manager to see if it's safe for my son to go home and to see if he should do an evaluation on me as well. Not what I was wanting or expecting.

My sister keeps treating me like a therapist / emotional toilet to dump on, and no, it's been two years and she gives the same excuses for not going back to therapy. Saying it isn't a priority, isn't urgent etc. She will apologize after dumping on me, but it's after the fact. Long, rants over whatsapp then a belated apology.

I'm still living with toxic family and she rants about our family to me, the person dealing with it 24/7.

I'm sorry Quietmind. I can totally relate to being treated like a T and being dumped on. My dad and sister literally called me their T. It hurts. I'm not a T! And I have my own problems which they don't want to hear.

My toddler played by herself for fifteen minutes and then went down for an early nap without a single cry. I feel slightly unnerved by this behavior...

Hugs. I'm sorry your sister and Dad treat you that way. Abusive sibling would call me his T too. It's unfair to you and like you said, you have your own struggles to deal with as well.

Nice! It's sort of like when the house is really quiet, and it's like, "Ah, quiet...wait, what has the kid gotten into?" [runs into room to check]

Lately her favorite thing is pulling off the "baby-proof" electrical outlet covers and handing them to me, which is both adorable and slightly maddening.
