When I think of those experiences, they tend to be ones that don’t translate well into writing. The ones that come to mind for me are ones that are felt in the moment, but might lose their specialness if I tried to write them down.

This sounds silly but after I did my epi exam I started this thing of finding a quote and using it to start the session off. The first three were all star trek themed. The following two sessions I noticed that he was doing the same thing and he gave me a star trek quote and an alice in wonderland one.

He also gave me a full session during one of his longer 4 week breaks in the summer.

He forgot that he had already said replied to one of my I passed emails, so he replied twice !

We've also had sessions where I've been thinking of a set phrase for how I was feeling and he pulled that out of me without saying it out aloud.

I wouldn't say it made me feel special, per se, but I thought it was nice of her and she went above and beyond. When I was in patient, she visited me twice each time. She didn't have to, and was really awesome about it all.

With current T, nothing and that's fine by me. If she tried to make me feel special, it would also make me very uncomfortable. I don't want or need that validation from a T.

I was in a dissociative state, she gave me a blanket to wrap around me. I still have the blanket. Another time i was in a dissociative state and she drove me to the hospital, gave me a sandwich, cut it for me, and held my hand. I felt like i was 5. Recently, the memory of that surfaced, and i recalled it for her, she said it happened three years ago, and she did that for an adult. Yet my memory still portrays myself as a 5 year old. I felt cared for, safe, and loved. I didnt tell her that. How i felt as a 5 year old vs what i feel as an adult 45 year old i cant talk about.

Last week, I went to my appointment and it was snowing and raining quite significantly. I travel about 40 miles to my appointment but took it slow and was fine. I am her last appointment and when the appointment ended the roads where horrible. She travels about 30 miles in the opposite direction from me. Shortly after I got home I received a text from her checking to see if I got home safely. It made me feel cared for
