I would think the vehicle is already sufficiently armoured, what with the nunchucks and the solar reciprocating saw...

It is rather armored for off roading and has a lot of solar power and a volta system - no propane - all electric. A/C can run off of batteries for 6 hours or so for dogs

Maybe try freeze dried fruit? It would be chalky, like your pom-pom stick or whatever its called. Not mushy, i guess most fruits and veg are mushy or get mushy.

How about fresh snap peas? They are very crisp and i think delightful. It has a singular flavor, rather sweet. Not too tough. Carrots are hard unless sliced very thin, but they have a mild, sweet flavor. Peas are the first veg i remember eating, straight from the garden.

Pears have the worst texture, mushy AND particles will get stuck under your gums, but they have a divine aroma and taste. Same for pineapple.

And that is the end of lunas cooking show for today!

How long are you letting your pears sit out before you eat them?

For me its a tradeoff - firmer means less flavor. But for some reason, my apartment seems to be some kind of time machine for pears - they leave the store in the dawn of adolescence, but they appear in my fruit bowl in the twilight of senescence.

I have issues with lots of fruit texture, too. Pears are gritty. Bananas--ugh, just can't deal with those at all. Plums, nectarines, grapes, blueberries, and strawberries can all be OK. Apples sometimes. Some melons. I think what's hard for me about eating fruit is that, unless you put it on cereal (or make it into a dessert), it's like, "OK, I'm gonna eat this piece of fruit now!" While veggies are much easier to just incorporate into a meal, at least for me. Like pasta with peppers and mushrooms (or broccoli), for example.

I love fruit -all fruit. I can't think of a fruit I don't like. I eat tons of fruit every day - it is nature's candy. Just plain - an apple, orange, plum, bowl of any berries, all melons etc. I don't really like most fruit cooked or messed with - just plain -sometimes with a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar on it.
I also often eat raw vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, turnips, peas etc just as snacks or dessert.

I am posting this here because I am really interested in the concept of insight ...

Insight from my therapist is feedback about those aspects of myself which are outside of my awareness. Broadly speaking, those aspects of my personality and character are outside of my awareness because I can't experience myself as others do, or because I am operating within my insular field of assumption or incomplete information. For example, my therapist has challenged me about my understanding of concern versus criticism. I had very limited understanding of others expressing concern for me, I almost always heard those comments as patronising criticisms. When she challenged me about my lack of understanding (and this was something which took several months of work), I was able to see that I had missed information about myself and others.

If we don't believe that others can provide insight, I think we are missing interesting and exciting aspects of ourselves and others. Therapists are no better nor worse placed than others to provide that insight.

That is because she was excellent and although I don't usually think she is funny, she was a riot in this film I thought. But my favorite was the woodchipper scene. I am not much into violence in movies, and like all coen bro films this was very violent, but for some reason the woodchipper just cracked me up. (I went and fast forward watched parts of the movie after you mentioned it)

I have actually never seen Fargo. Chalk it up to one of the many must see's that I've never seen. I've heard it is very good though.

Getting so tired now. Need a nap! An hour and 15 minutes left of work. It's Restaurant Friday. We order out on Fridays to support a local restaurant. At least no dinner dishes!

Tried taking a nap yesterday and kept hearing voices. So annoying. I thought it was my Mom but she denied it. Usually my voices are male but these ones sounded female or non-gender specific. Gotta talk to my T about this tomorrow.

Excellent use of the inchoative.

One might however say “dawn of adolescence” was redundant.

I like firm fruit.
