Done. I can bring a couple of beers, some reasonably decent scotch, and enough snacks to feed us for a week (I always bring a veritable crap-ton of snackage when I take a big exam, so I hit up Walgreen's pretty hard this afternoon).

What happened to all the threads on the romantic feelings thread. I was chasing one of Nicole Flynns threads. I will have to do that google search thing. I wrote it down somewhere

Maybe with social distancing, theres a decrease in romantic feelings? And the threads fell off the date thingie? Has it been six months?

I just checked, the cutoff is 100 days, thats barely 4 months. But you can change that to display more.

Diabetic/arthritic cat's ramp is all assembled and in place at the end of our bed now. He walked halfway up it, then tried to jump on the bed from there and fell. :'( H picked him up and sorta helped him walk to the top of the ramp, then he was able to step on the bed from there. I hope he will use it on his own. Poor guy. I feel so bad for him. We got his arthritis meds today so hopefully they will help.

How do you tell somebody on facebook they post too much for you? I accepted a cousins wife friend request, then i unfriended her the next day because she ended up being every other post in my feed! Thats too much! Or how do i limit what comes across? Why dont i have this problem with other people? A coupla political harangues, a coupla kid pics, a coupla recipes, a coupla throwbacks - thats about all i can handle in a day. This lady is too popular. Im only asking because another friend request from her showed up. Im gonna just assume its zuckerberg being a butt!

I already basically bowed out of Facebook a couple months ago. Happens every election year. And during pandemics, apparently.

That's some fashion report. Being able to see the bra (strap, presumably) seems like an oversight to me.

If you accept her friend request again, like @@ said, you could snooze her. Or you could Unfollow her but stay her friend. Then if you were wondering what was going on with her, you could go to her page and look at it when you feel like it.

Facebook is annoying because it uses various algorithms to show what ends up in your feed (I used to manage an organization's Facebook page, so learned quite a bit about this!) If lots of people like a certain post, it's more likely to show up in your feed. Or if there's someone whose posts you tend to like or comment on, they'll show up more. Same with groups that you comment on/like more often. But then sometimes it just seems to go haywire and only shows you the same group of people. Or it's showing you posts from 5 days ago instead of newer ones. I find that to be more of a problem on the app than on the computer, through a browser.

I meet with a potential new employer this morning. It's a job I'm very excited about - and assuming I'll get it because I know the director of the agency as well as two other employees who all recommended me. The employee I talked to about it earlier this week said I just need to complete paperwork to make it official. I cannot wait to leave my not-so-safe field that I've been in and start working for a social service agency.

Ugh. A message from my Mum and my bowels are punishing me.

How have I not mentioned this before? I can see Info’s bra straps pretty much every session. Sometimes the tops of the cups.

Are you talking about Facebook or a therapist?

Sessions have just been kind of meh lately. I'm not so sure it's the therapist. I think it's me. I'm starting to feel like I have nothing significant to talk about. But then every so often I have a crisis so I'm not quite ready to cut the cord, but I also don't want to just have meh sessions all the time.

I'm so bored at work today. I could either be bored at home or bored at work though so it's better to be bored at work where at least I am getting paid for the day. We are still on furlough for 16 hours a week and unemployment is so far behind we haven't even gotten paid yet for time in July. I'm trying not to stress about it but it's hard. I feel kind of yucky today but there's nothing I can do about it. I'm not even excited about the weekend because I am just going to be bored. This pandemic is getting to me!

How to Mute Someone on Facebook

I deactivated my facebook account for the second time 69 days ago and haven't logged in since. I was in a study group and kept it for that mainly but thankfully they moved all the premade notes to google drive so I don't really need the group anymore.

Not there yet to delete my account entirely. Though I did get rid of twitter.

Why not work on how to avoid getting into crisis?

You've been doing some great work, Kit...and it would be good to have some tools to avoid being in a difficult place, or to use once you are there. You are worthy of support, and it would be good to keep your ties at the moment, I think.

What kind of things do you normally enjoy? Maybe try to focus one one thing to look forward to at a time. Do you like baking/ cooking?

I was looking up paint by numbers and puzzles for my younger sister. She also goes out for long walks and my other sister is going through a book phase.

I'm going through a dark chocolate phase. My last bar was 75% and It's easier to make it last one whole week instead of eating the whole milk 100g bar in one day.

Exam complete! Hard to know how it went (and I won’t get the results for months) but at least I don’t have to study anymore!
