Is there an opposite of SAD, where people get depressed in winter from no sun? I think I have it—sun (unless with clouds), heat, humidity depress me.

I don't know if there's a term for it, but I struggle with heat and humidity and tend to feel worse in the summer. I would think that "SAD" would still apply, actually, because it is a season, and it is affecting you.

I was upset last night because I was so very tired--I teach 2 classes on Saturdays this summer-- and I wanted to go to bed, but the sun hadn't gone down yet! This gets worse as the summer goes on and the sun stays up past 9 PM. it's only a couple or three days a week that I'm that tired, but I need to go to sleep but I can't! Oh, well, I just nap on the couch as I try to watch television.

Good point. If i dont keep up with my diuretic, my main symptom is depression. The rest i can more easily ignore. The point is my water table level is off.

Not me - I love the sun and I don't really mind humidity much. Humidity bothers me a little more now that I am old -but I still like it. It is like a weather hug. I would think all you huggy types would like it.

Not me. I got sucked in by the hype and bought some Artic Cool shorts, tshirt and hat. The only place i was hot was where my undergotchies were. So hopefully next time my camo shorts will truly live up to their name!

I am definitely a huggy type, but I detest humid weather. Unless it's actually raining, of course. I don't mind rain so much.

Back from day 4 at the gym swimming laps. It feels SO good. As long as I swim only breaststroke, it doesn't bother my shoulder at all. Happily! 4 more days of my challenge to myself to swim every day til I see L again.

For some reason when I read HIIT my mind traveled back to church camp many many moons ago and doing the "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" song with the motions every morning before breakfast.

Careful she might think you've given full consent for the deluxe Dr Una treatment package, that comes complete with leeches and pimple popping tools.
