(When asked the "I do" question I said "I guess", mainly because I was irked that he refused to come up with some personal vows to say to me in front of the three people present because he would be embarrassed or something like that. It hurt me a lot and I guess it should have been a clue to say "I don't" instead. Oh, and we had a horse-drawn carriage ride to and from the park where we were married and after the ceremony, he was flirting with the girl driving. And he had also gone drinking with our mutual friend before the wedding and was almost late to it. Wow. What a lovely day. There were so many clues I missed. I feel really stupid.)

Neither of them can act?

Howdy Doody and Ted Koppel, now those two are hard to tell apart.

Sometimes one of us remembers to do "air hugs" (standing 6 feet apart or whatever we both open our arms and wiggle our fingers and say "air hugs". It's stupid but kinda comforting all the same) but we don't always remember.

Thanks, Artie. Yeah, an air handshake or wave or something would have helped. I think I'm just awkward at goodbyes anyway. I just worry I overstayed my welcome or something. Though I worry about that with everyone, really...

Sigh. The boys brought old man cat in from the office where he usually likes to hang out and he was all snotty and his eyes were gooey. Took him to the vet this afternoon, who was very carefully trying to suggest all available options and was possibly new because he didn't seem to have the whole conversation down yet. He was sweet and thoughtful, just seemed like he wasn't quite sure how to pose his suggestions tactfully. Good thing I have practice with this one. I declined the expensive blood test (because we're already in "keep him comfortable" so what would we do with the information?) and the less expensive blood test (ditto, and a little shocked that $86 is the inexpensive one). I asked if instead we just give him the antibiotics to see if it is an infection and vet added an appetite stimulant to see if we can get him to keep his strength up so he can fight this is it is fightable.

Old man cat wouldn't let the vet tech clean his eyes and he washed his own face when he got home so that's a sign he's in his true crotchety cat form. Also the vet first thought maybe their records were wrong because he's *gained* weight since the last time they saw him, so he's been keeping his weight up. Also good news.

It sucks being the one who has to make the decisions. I hope I made the right one.

Idk, i really think i got you beat for stupid weddings. I started laughing as the h guy started EMOTING his vows so the priest stopped the ceremony. Unfortunately he also started it back up. My mother told me i do everything wrong. And she clarified she meant everything. And she told me this like 10 years ago, so she wasnt leaving anything out.

Omg. I miss that rabbit hole, seriously. Couldn't have anything dragon - mother was into the satanic panic.

So I discovered dragon sculptures as an adult. I don't remember artist names though, would love recommendations. Couch 228--The Wellness Couch

I just vented to my T (her boundary for texts is no replying) about my stress over money, in particular my lack of a steady income, and my partner having unrealistic expectations of what work I ought to do.

Now, I get that he doesn't want me to burnout again but I don't think some of his requirements are fair. He's extremely privileged to have good labour laws in HIS country, but I'm stuck in MY home country where it's different. His combination of requirements is ridiculously hard to meet. Low stress, remote work, no shift work, no working on evenings or nights or weekends, which pays well. A freaking unicorn job.

Especially when I literally struggle to schedule a talk with him to discuss me working because he could get panic attacks from me even TRYING to schedule that talk.

Sure, don't want me to work? Pay my bills then. But of course that isn't happening.

Get why I feel frustrated as hell? As soon as I get my first covid jab, I'm going to sit him down. Temperature screening jobs here are low stress and pay alright. Dishwashing jobs, service crew jobs, whatever really.

Sure as hell beats doing surveys for literal cents, or spending a ton of time on Fiverr to make a measly $5. Even amazon mturk is like what, $1.5/hour and countless hours trying to snag good tasks.

I have a small figurine at home by "Myths & Legends by Veronese W.U.I.", which seems to be a German figurine designer (Veronese Figurine Shop | www.figuren-shop.de). During my search for that artist, I also found these guys Dragons – Myths & Legends Collection

But usually I just really like dragons, especially ones that are in a 'gothic' style. Whenever I see something that I could fit in my house somehow and can afford, I buy it... but most things don't even have artists names on them, unfortunately
Thanks for this!

Hugs if wanted, QM. That does seem like an unattainable list of requirements from your partner for a job. It seems like you could find one that fits a few of those, but not all. Some of the options you mentioned seem like they would work, if your goal for now is mainly to bring in some money with low stress.

Hugs definitely appreciated, LT.Couch 228--The Wellness Couch

I also have looked into various other global remote work sites and yes, nothing decent. Or they don't work in my country. I just looked in case I would need to explain.

I definitely feel some of the options I mentioned are solid, he just needs to drop some unrealistic requirements, especially around the hours I work.

I know I don't need his permission, I can do what I want, but it would really cause a break down in trust if I did that without talking about it first.

I'll probably also point out that I'm getting vaccinated asap, so he can worry less about me catching covid. And that my current government assistance for my psych meds will run out end of this year. Each renew needs more and more justification and I have other bills too.

I came across a tiny dragon figurine during the move that I had gotten at the miniature museum a few years back. I don't remember why I even bought it, it was just so dang cute I guess haha. All I really remember is because it's so tiny I kept losing it (probably the cats would steal it, more likely) so I brought it into therapy time before last and gave it to L for the sand tray shelves. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think maybe I had originally actually bought 2 of them with the intention of turning them into earrings (yes, they're that tiny!) but if I did, one of them is lost-lost.
Thanks for this!
