My therapist has been on sick leave for almost 3 months now. I phoned the receptionist and they have no idea when my therapist is going to return to work. I am suppose to be getting a phone call from another therapist. I hope I can get into see someone one on one til my therapist returns if she does. I think because of her age and Covid19 it's unlikely she will return.

The therapist that is taking over til my therapist called me and talked with me for awhile over the phone. Basically telling me that being hard on myself is a habit. He also gave me some journal prompts to work on for the next week. I guess it's better then not having someone to talk to. He hopes my therapist will be back in a couple weeks and that is what they keep saying.

I'm so glad that the covering therapist called you and talked with you for a while on the phone. Does journaling help you? It's good that they are hopeful your therapist will be back. HUGS Kit

Journaling is very helpful for me. I do it every morning along with a mood tracker. I am so glad I was able to talk with someone, it helped me to think about things differently. I miss my therapist allot and I can't wait to see her it's been too long and I hope she is okay more then anything I worry about her.

Also glad you heard from the other therapist. Will you be able to meet with him for a regular session, either in person or teletherapy?

No he is only doing sessions by phone and I have to phone the reception next Tuesday or Wednesday as he is not schedualing appointments. However he will talk with me on the phone next week.
