Is there a brand name or something for this expensive blood clotting cloth of which you speak? My current pets have never bled from any cause as far as I'm aware, but I like to be prepared.

I also liked him when he played a teacher in the 80s. I thought it was Square Pegs, but it was Head of the Class.

Not as classic as Dr. Johnny, though!

Nah, I’ll take the scar to seeing a doctor needlessly. It’ll give me hand character.

But yeah, this might hamper my brilliant future as a mandolin player serenading you ‘neath your balcony by moonlight.

There’s a fancy Greek word for that: paraklausithyron.

A mandoline could have ended your mandolin-playing career. (I know, it wasn't a mandoline. Also, one of my friends takes mandolin lessons.)

Morning couch. I had a cool dream last night where I see a door that is laying flat and buried just under the surface of the ground. I woke up from it feeling happy, feeling like I had just been sitting/talking with L (although she was not part of the dream). My first thoughts on the dream are: doors represent transitions, and this one is buried sort of like seeds, not deep, so it can sprout and grow, or something and once it grows I will be able to pass through it (?). My other thought is a door just under the surface could be an invitation to continue exploring deeper parts of myself. Interesting how happy I still feel like 2 hours after waking from the dream.

eta: I just went and looked at my notebook and there was more to the dream than just the doors. Underneath one of them was a box, and inside the box was a mask. Hmm. Masks make me think of personas. Mine, or someone else's? Hmm indeed, she says.

Curious as to whether Dr. T will remember and say anything without my mentioning it. I don't want to expect it, but it would be nice...

It's funny the random emails I'm getting from businesses. Like, "Wait, I told you when my birthday is?" For example, the car dealership where I bought my car. (I guess I had to include birthdate somewhere in the paperwork? Oh, probably because I financed through them.) Or a hair salon I went to exactly once.

The funniest/cheesiest was from this company that sells surplus produce, Hungry Harvest, which included "We have mushroom in our hearts for you."

Worth it for the pun alone.

FWIW, Liz is pretty warm and fuzzy and I've had sessions with her on two or three recent birthdays and she never remembers, even when my impending birthday has come up in the previous session. We had a scheduled phone call on my birthday this year (because it was right before I was going to be induced to give birth, not because it was my birthday) and she also didn't remember. I usually wish her a happy birthday, but that's because it's in my calendar to remind me. (Speaking of people who are too attached... )

I need to do an Active Imagination or something and try for a closer look at the mask. My dreams have suddenly come alive again - I've remembered/written down no less than 20 dreams since I last saw L.

To me it sounds like the dream is about closets and masking yourself.
