Hmm. Then i would wager your stoonts are not doing their required reading, else your diction mightn't be so unfamiliar to their ears.
Thanks for this!

Speaking of dinosaurs, But With Raptors on Twitter is quite entertaining. I especially liked the Jerry Maguire and Ghost ones.

Don’t forget methinks and forsooth.

Is it really too much to ask that I be regarded as the T Rex in Jurassic Park? But noooo...

I get her mixed up with Peggy Cass, who played Agnes Gooch in Auntie Mame, probably my all-time favorite character.

I Like Peggy Cass as well. But in all honesty - I am a huge Rosalind Russell fan - catholic school girl lesbian crush on mother superior in the trouble with angels and mostly just paid attention to her.

Seemed like Pat Carroll was always just showing up on various variety shows, and i was always glad to see her. She was like your favorite smiley but very talented aunt.

I had crushes on all those fast-talking smart-mouthed women in 1930s and 1940s comedies—the younger Russell, Jean Arthur, Katharine Hepburn, Irene Dunne.

Wasn't Peggy Cass on some game show for a long time sort of like Fannie Flagg?

I had a therapy appointment Saturday night at 6 although T didn't log on until 6:10.

It was okay. We talked about hallucinations, depression, SH. She asked me some questions like if I was irritated or angry or something so maybe my demeaner was off. But I rarely feel that way so I was like, no.

It was nice to talk to her. I'm just not sure how helpful it was.

T gave me her business card when we had that meeting with my parents. On a whim, I looked up her license number. She does have a citation from 2018 so I looked at it. It looks like she didn't have enough continuing education credits for the proceeding term. She was about 8 credits short. But it looks like she made them up and paid the $300 fine. This was back in 2018. Just an interesting factoid.

Continuing ed isn't too bad of a violation, as those things go. I had a certification at one point (health education specialist) that I let lapse because I wasn't using it, and I would have had to make up a ridiculous amount of continuing ed. Not sure what it's like for therapists, but some you can do for free, but it's not worth that many credits/hours, and others are really expensive. If she got behind, it could be difficult to make up.

Thanks, LT

Yeah, I'm not overly concerned about it. I just thought it was interesting. Particularly as she is random, and this seems like something random that she would do (or not do).

From what I could tell, it looks like the social worker (she is an lcsw) has to do 30 hours of continuing education in 2 years. She was a little short and she got audited and it amounted to a fine and a citation. I don't know how frequently they audit though.

She did talk about how at one point she was sick. I don't know if this was during that time. So it might have been. In any event, she corrected it, paid the fine within the time frame and doesn't have any other citations.

It hadn't occurred to me to look her up sooner, although I have looked up pretty much every T I have had. But since I just got her license number, I decided to look her up on the state website.

Just one of those, good to know situations.

HUGS Kit

Waiting on T to text me back. (Not on the continuing ed thing.) Sigh.

I was back and forth as to whether or not I should reach out to her but then I thought oh well, I will. And now I kind of regret it because I have to wait for a response.

I told my T that I thought my mental health might be declining right now and I'm not too sure how to put the brakes on and turn things around at the moment. Sigh. I just saw pdoc about 2.5 weeks ago and he upped some medicine so it might be that it just hasn't kicked in yet. Sucks when you don't know what else to do.

I have a GP appointment tomorrow. We'll see if she calls the cops on me again to do a potential 5150 code. Sigh.

Although, maybe I need the hospital right now. I'm not sure. It would probably just be a huge waste of time like usual though. T has already bumped me up to twice a week, plus I have group therapy once a week. Plus pdoc upped the medicine. All this stuff should kick in soon. I hope.

I'm sorry you are feeling so bad, Kit. Can you hang on until your doctor's appt tomorrow? I know your last appt was a bit traumatizing, but I hope you know that your doc is keeping your best interest in mind. We all want Kit to be healthy and happy
