Cuticles, of course. Nails are my favorite bodypart. At one point in my young life, it was proposed i would attend the beauty school at the end of my street and make my life there. Thats the other reason im a freudian. Sibling rivalry. My brother did everything he could to derail my life, both behind my back (like diminishing me to the parents) and to my face.

Spleen is my second choice, how did you know?! Ah! Because i often vent it?

Just got yelled at by H for having an extra phone session with L. He was going to take me out to dinner tonight to help me try to enjoy something, but now he says we can't because we can't afford it because I had the phone session.

If I'm barely making it now, what's going to happen when L's on leave if G can't/won't work with my insurance? I don't know how much of a sliding scale he can give me.

As your straight man, I have to ask, how are ears and Uranus related?

Do Americans sing "Head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes"? Una must be a quivering wreck of desire.

Hugs, Scarlet, I'm sorry.

Also, it might be good to check into the insurance/sliding scale options with G sooner than later, just so you know. Also, their policy for emails, phone calls, etc.

It isn't just any old body parts - I think for exhankster they need to be flirting or naked body parts. Like peekaboo shoulders or a scandalous knee from under a longer skirt or even the glimpse of a playful ankle tucked between a short boot and flowing trousers.

Real Freudians can see the flirt and nakedness in any and all body parts. The more ordinary and covered, the greater the unconscious meaning. Try harder, una!

Hmm, I'm starting to get a little concerned about h. He left for a dentist appointment over 3 hours ago and isn't home yet. I thought anyway it was for x-rays and a cleaning. He didn't take his phone with him so I can't call. There was a big thunderstorm including hail like an hour ago - it's stopped now. I hope he's ok. I'm gonna call the dentist office.

That was no help. They close at 5 (right now) and they already have their recording saying that they're closed. I'm about to drive over there.... I'm hoping maybe they lost power or something for awhile and had to stop doing whatever they were doing. So odd though.

I hope your H is OK, Artie! I'd be worried, too. Maybe they were behind, then he decided to get something to eat on the way home?
Thanks for this!

Thanks LT. He got home just as I was going out to my car. I'm so glad he didn't get in an accident or something. They did a bunch of work and part of the time was waiting to be sure insurance was going to help cover stuff. He has an estimate for another $8,000 of work (his copays) on top of what they did today. He has absolutely abysmal teeth that he doesn't take care of very well. (I'm really not one to talk as I didn't go to the dentist for 6 years or whatever before I finally did again but at least I brush my teeth and floss more than he does.) If he gets all of the work done over the next year it really should last him the rest of his life.

Glad he's OK!

But yikes, that's a lot of money! Dental care is ridiculously expensive in the US, even with insurance. So many limits on what they'll cover, too.
Thanks for this!

Glad your H is okay, Artie!

I hate dentistry. I liked my last dentist a lot, but she moved to be closer to Disneyland...lol. Seriously. I'm afraid next time I go to the dentist, they're going to want to pull the rest of my teeth on the bottom. I already wear dentures on top. And then I'll get a lecture on getting implants. It's all too expensive!

Wow....

I'm beginning to understand that dental care is a luxury.
I can't imagine a dentist moving to be closer to Disneyland...

Yikes, Artie...that is an extraordinary amount of money.

Take care,

Lost

I have indeed, but didn't want to post about that without putting it behind a [trigger] tag.

Some are squeamish, like me...and even more so around teeth.

He just talked to his dental insurance trying to get their input on finding a dentist that might charge less without him having to go get umpteen sets of xrays (as for some reason they don't want to share with each other). he got one suggestion. it is nuts.
