the next writing practice i'm gonna do from this new book is to pull two cards, and then have the image in each card describe the image in the other card. that sounds like fun, and safe from making me delve into crap that will give me a headache like the first one did.

I still fantasize about the two of you being nursing home roomies someday. Nielsen top 10 material.

Now I may be more worried about you.

It would only be a matter of hours or possibly even minutes before ex-hankster or I tried to smother the other with a pillow.
I stopped keeping track of the clients I represented who we had to find new nursing homes because they or their roomie snapped.

I was thinking a new "Odd Couple", but maybe "Murder, She Poked"? The recurring plot would be SD tries out a new tool or vehicle with hilarious disastrous results, and i fall in love with her emergency tech.

My money is on SD succeeding at murder. More like: you try to kill SD with one of her tools, to predictable hilarious disastrous results, while she obliviously watches opera.

Just found out that my Primary Care Doctor is resigning.

I met the new NP at my dr's office this morning. I had really, really liked the previous one sure wish she hadn't left the practice. But the new one seems fine so far, anyway. Can't say the same for the new PA, hopefully she was just having a bad day but if not - boy is she in the wrong profession. She was very short with me and churly and slamming things around so much that I wanted to ask her if she was okay, but I was a little afraid she'd bite my head off if I did. Anyway I got my script renewals sent in to the pharmacy and some routine tests ordered so I don't have to see her again for another 3 months or so.

well that was the most tearful session i've had in a while. holy carp. item one on my list for today took the entire hour and the first time I looked at the clock, we had only 15 minutes left! I was like wha??? Anyway I read her one of the pieces I wrote for my current writing course (a prompt from the tarot for writers book) and oh boy did she run with that. she offered a zoom session next week while I'm visiting my sister but I am pretty sure I won't need it - being with my sister will be more than enough.

Made another dishcloth this evening, this is a fun pattern.

Thanks! And what can I say, I've realized crocheting, as well as writing, is a way to untangle my thoughts. And after my session yesterday, they are tangled indeed. I am apparently more deeply entrenched than ever in that place between accepted awareness and acting on said awareness - as in, I know what I need to do but remain completely and unwaveringly unwilling to do it.

I want to upload a profile pic but every time I try, I get a message saying that I have failed (I am sure we can all relate), even if I have resized the image. I want a profile pic like all you cool dudes!

Aren't there pre-uploaded ones you can choose from somewhere too? Although my info is woefully out of date because I set mine once and have never changed it.
