I miss snakecharmer. I wish I could tell her how much she helped me and to update her on how well I'm doing.

I miss the disruptive posters who have been here over the years in one form or another. I have grown to appreciate the supportive and gentle nature of this place, but I like a bit of grit too. It brings a different energy. I rarely read a challenging post these days.

I just unexpectedly got the day off tomorrow. We've been pretty darn caught up with our work lately, so they offered 2 people to be off tomorrow (either unpaid or using our vacation time). I just happened to see the email the second it popped in and responded immediately so I got one of the slots. woohoo!

If I post an individual thread about Dr. T, I bet we could draw some out! Just based on past experience...

I worry about a few posters who left who seemed to often be in a bad place. I hope it's just that they're doing better now and don't feel the need to post here.

Anyone else remember Luc ? Who had something to do with lucozade in their name.

Having a safe space really helps and I’m honestly grateful, even though I’m around less. It’s all the support over the past 5 years that adds up to something like Kathleen Kelly from my favourite movie says.

Also thank you for posting about going to the dentist art. I had lots of people talking about it at the same time and walked yesterday to a new practice to book an appointment for tomorrow as he a a spot. I last went 7 months ago.

I'm glad I can read back through my posts to see how much I have changed. I used to have so much dental shame. It was always about being judged and being seen as dirty. I cried before my last appointment, but it honestly just feels like no biggie now.

Lucozader was wonderful.
They shared some great music with me.

Hope they're OK.

I woke from a dream this morning when my alarm buzzed: i'm in college with a bunch of couch peeps, we all live in the same dorm, and had just found that somebody had put a tracking device inside my guitar....

I have two dr appts, GP on tuesday afternoon, eye surgeon on wednesday morning.

What an adventure getting there tuesday! I forgot that there was construction on the bus route to the zipcar, so i ended up having to call an uber in the middle of effing nowhere - i mean it was like at a deer crossing! I love satellites!

Good appt, my hbaic (3 month measure of blood sugar) is down some more, so he said keep it up and your reward is come back in six months not three.

So i leave and call another uber, this time to take me to my zipcar, and as im waiting outside, this old old lady (ie older than me) comes out, barks into a walkie-talkie, "come get me brandon!", i move over on the bench to let her sit down but no, brandon comes zooming up from the parking lot, and she says to me, "i got 22 grandkids and 23 greatgrandkids!"

And when i woke up in the wee hours (operative word being wee) this morning, i formulated the perfect riposte to her boastful declaration:

"Imma cut you, b!"

Lol at your response. Typical Una O.

It's nice her family do keep an eye on her.

Congrats on getting through it all. Well done on lowering the blood sugar.!!!

Fin messaged me this morning which I wasn't expecting. He apologized and said that he thought he had replied to me, but hadn't. That he could do a closing session. Maybe on the 23rd,

I had an session with someone else on monday. Which was comforting and helped take the sting out of things. He said it was because we were mismatched. Our sessions had become uncontained. That it had lasted as long as it did because I went along with things when I didn't feel weekly sessions worked for me.

I also have a double intro session with Norman's T today.

Would it really have been so hard to have also sent that message last week ? Does it really take 6 days to notice me? I spent the past 4 days crying because of that last exchange. I don't want to be such an after thought.

So I don't feel like I will be taking up his offer which would also cost me £105 .

Yeah gangsta grannies! I was wondering if i was putting myself on blast like her.

Slightly different, but i really like my new gp. I think my old one never acknowledged when i lost weight or did anything good, so i never changed. I loved him but i hated seeing him, and i always felt like i was playacting in his office. With new gp - i feel real. I think it started with my gosling chiropractor. Real acceptance.

It was definitely a microagression, great-granny-style! She be braggin about her ovaries, aint nobody wanna hear that shyte.

Why would you announce to a perfect (emphasis on perfect of course) stranger the number of your offspring?

I did think it was pretty cool the way she summoned a car - it was very knight-rider the way the kid swerved up.

But she doesnt need to be telling crazy people all her business. Is breeding a contest? Are we frogs?

Norman's T isn't for me.

It was just 2h of questions. My father's name. My mother's name. My brother's name. My sister's name? Are my grandparents alive? My address which Rob didn't even know after 3.5 years. Energy levels between one and 10. An anxiety and depression index.

I lied on some of the questions.

Felt so checked out.

She called me "elusive and a mystery".

Told her that I wasn't going to rebook if I was being honest.

Thanked her for her time.
