When I begun with my now old T over 20yrs ago I was clutching at anything that might take the pain away.. I remember sayng in one of my first sessions (I'm not religious in any way) that "I've considered reading the bible to see if this god thats talked about could help "... To which T replied "sure reading the bible you'd get to learn about God but nothing about yourself".. That stuck with me and still to this day it pops into my mind... What's 1 thing anyone here has that stuck with them ?
Thanks for this!

'You can't plan emotions,' she said to the person who would timetable grief to the second if it was possible.

"Don't drink again!"

I swear I'm an adult with ODD. Guess that's just called being an a-hole.
