Well it must be upsetting for you to feel that way but probably she is grieving and not fully herself at the moment in thinking of others. You need to cut her some slack here. Try to understand although it's hard on your end to lose her.

Give her a break. Pdocs are human too. She's probably not thinking as clearly as usual because of the grief and sadness she's going through. Pdocs are allowed to have emotions too.

this was not about anger, she closed her practise a year ago, without informing 3 ppl we were without meds. until we got new pdoc, I do grieve for her and her family, but ethicly she should have informed us

I agree with you on this one. My pdoc left me after seeing her for 8 years and I found out when I showed up for an appointment and the receptionist handed me a letter from her. Typed to "all patients". Not handwritten but very professional and generic saying I am closing my practice...I wish you the best of luck in the future. After 8 years that is all I got? Anyway, I believe that she closed her practice due to medical reasons but that doesn't take away the hurt and pain that I felt not having the closure of saying what I needed to her in order to move on. It also really affected my trust in my next T that I got. I still think about her to this day and wonder what I would have said to her but I didn't get that chance. I think it was wrong and unethical to do what she did.

I'm a little confused. Is it that she closed the practice and didn't even tell you or is it that she didn't tell you why she closed the practice?

Oh sorry, I thought her husband had died suddenly and she just recently left. I'm confused too. Did she not tell you at all that she was closing her practice did she not tell you the reason?
