Just had my 2nd appointment with this new therapist (therapist #2 recently). I think this might actually work. He is genuine, honest, and explains things in a way that I understand. Only 2 weeks and he seems to "get" it already. Yay!!

I wasn't totally sure after the first appointment, and I couldn't go last week because I was so busy with work and all his appointments that fit my schedule were booked. But today went really well, I think.

Finally.

Huge sigh of relief....

That's awesome! I hope they continue to "get it". Finding someone to connect with is great.

Oh, sorry. I know this is getting confusing with all my drama.

First appointment was actually April 1st. But then he was on vacation from like April 3rd - 9th. And he didn't have anything open later last week, plus I was super-busy with work.

I suppose I could have called him while he was on vacation but I just felt like I would be bothering him too much. He did help me get in to the family practice doc for meds (I'm now on Zoloft). The family doc works in the same building as this therapist, so that will be convenient.

Only downside so far is that he won't do late appointments, and the closest to lunch I can get is 11:00. But...that's fine. I'll just take early lunches once a week, and hope nobody at work starts to wonder why.
