Sky, nope,

I don't believe those who don't seek help will be any happier ten years from now. I even think of that myself. I remember being upset about that in therapy not to long ago. How I lost most my life, and then years more before finally getting the courage to try to deal wiht it. I sure wished I had worked on this ten years ago rather than now...

Sidony,
I agree that sometimes it can help the process so long as we don't start focusing our sessions on caring for our therapist and so long as what they share with us isn't detrimental to the process.

Though there are certain things I would never want to hear...like I'm having an affair etc...lol...I wouldn't mind if they had went through a similiar experience to mine, heck it would even give me more hope in dealing with my issues knowing that someone else is doing really well after surviving such a background.

I have been having nightmares lately, I shared them with my therapist, she said the good thing is you find a safe haven in the end....though in some I didn't but I didn't share all with her.

I then said don't you usually find safe haven in dreams?

She disclosed that when she first started college she would dream of being on an island ......and never found safety in the dream....she would wake up scared ect....... she said it was a time of her life where she felt all alone....having been away in college.....
Its nice to know shes real
