I found out I'm overdrawn. OMG Waaaay overdrawn.

Called T to tell her my last check to her is now rubber. :-(

And that I can't come in Thursday.

Sobbing, keening, wailing, stupid idiot I am.

And T isn't even in on Tuesdays now. Not that I asked her to call because I didn't. I am far too embarassed and humiliated and furious with myself to want to 'face' her even on the phone.

But she calls anyway. :-) To tell me pleasantly to "Come in on Thursday. We'll work it out." Plain, simple, gentle, accepting.

Who is this person whom I don't disgust even when I disgust myself? Sometimes it's kind of weird waiting for the "You stupid IDIOT!!!" and it doesn't come.

I love my T I love my T.

That is so awesome. I like that so much. I'm overly optimistic and like to assume all therapists get in it to "help" people. I've only been rudely surprised once... and irony of all ironies... it was a pastoral counselor.

Awesome what a dollar can do to some people.

On the flip side, it is an important service, and I want them to be paid... so I get that too.... it's just hard to appreciate someone who wants grocery money for the month for 45 minutes of their time. ha
