therapist said she would call on thursday to catch up and to discuss what time our session friday is best.
therapist never called. therapist called friday morning to say she needed to cancel fridays session. but no worries, because therapist said she'd call me friday afternoon to catch up by phone. therapist never called. REALLY, though?

Oh, WOW. I'm so sorry, krazibean. It's so hard waiting for those calls anyhow - for me, minutes feel like HOURS - and then to have the call never come would be so upsetting, disappointing, discouraging, crazy-making, etc., etc.
When is your next appointment?? I hope you don't have to wait too long.

Oh Krazibean this must be so hard.
I hope T provides you with an adequate reason for late notice. Can you call your T and let T know how this makes you feel? I too hope your next session is not to far away.

she called while i was at work and left a nice message. she apologized and said that she hopes i'm doing well and taking care of myself. she said she's been thinking about me. she made an attempt to connect and she apologized that its been so difficult. when she was getting ready to hang up she said, "hang in there hun". her message got me through the day. i called back but she wasn't there. it is difficult to connect right now but i know that she was trying and that we will eventually.
