((((((((((((((((MC)))))))))))))))

I'm glad you liked my book suggestion, let me know if you read it.

I'm also happy to hear your session went well today (yay!!). I can't imagine being stuck in traffic for 30 mins while I'm supposed to be in session. Before the holidays I was a coupe of minutes late due to holiday traffic and I was freaking out.

Hey guys,

Sunny, I think the reason I fall into that "old" role with T is because of how unintegrated my self states are. This is the work in my therapy right now, the integrative work. I remember about a year ago, T told me I was left unintegrated. So, T does not behave like my mother did, but because of the complex nature of my ptsd (triggers everywhere) and because of how needy and unintegrated my child self is--it is almost impossible for me to avoid letting that child part react to given situations rather than the adult me. (If that makes any sense.)

And--to answer your question, I feel so connected and cared for when he looks sad.

Chaotic, yes! I hope also to form a healthy relationship with T that I can draw upon for my life.

Echoes--I hope I stay on this landing for a while. I'm exhausted, very, very exhausted.

((((((((everyone))))))))

The book that Echoes recommended has its own website, maybe we should contact the author. Dear Dr Wallin, I'm writing on behalf on myself and my friends from the psychotherapy forum on PC. We are struggling with understanding and defining our attachments with our Ts. We need a lot of help. We need your help. Can you come chat with us one evening for a Q&A session. Yours truly, Coconut64.
