Go in, and tell her what you just wrote here.
Then you can talk about what makes you happy and whatever else has made you happy at this point in time. Not all therapy has to be about the "bad" or icky stuff that makes us feel crappy... sometimes we have good days, and some days we don't want to talk about issues and would rather talk about a book we've read, or even about the weather!

I'm also a student and when I go home I sometimes go see old T. It helps me get through the stress of being in a different environment and it also gives me a chance to tell her what is going on in my life.
The reconnection is not only good for soothing whatever we need at the time, but I think it really is nice for a lot of them to see their clients progressing positively. She probably won't make you work unless you want to work. It's nice to hear someone's improving! I hope I can soon start implement the changes that you have. Good job! |

It would be wonderful to share that with her. So often our T's get all of our problems but none of our joys and successes. That is part of therapy too. I hope you can go.
