I think this is more appropriate site to ask my questions. Which is it worse, a woman or a man unfaithful, let me know you thoughts. What makes people cheat in every relationship they have?

A man being unfaithful and a woman being unfaithful should be equal in God's eyes......society rips them apart in separate ways....but the true victim is the one being cheated upon, only if it happens do you know the pain..I believe it happens due to lack of good communication between the two, coupled with a strong sex drive, an urge to explore things that are forbidden, and selfishness..........

Honestly, I think the issue is a lot more complicated then gender. But with either I think it is equally wrong, that one is looked on as OK whereas the other isn't.

Now, if you are talking simply (Ha!) sexual culture, there is more of an inequality there.

If one is going to go through the actual act of "cheating", wouldn't it be better for everyone involved if they just broke off the relationship first?

I completely agree with the above quote. If one has the desire to be with anyone other than their mate, I believe they should take care of the 1st relationship before carrying on with the 2nd. Not only is it fair to the mate to do this, it will certainly help with the 2nd relationship as well.

Life is too complicated even in it's simplest form to add more complications into the mix, especially when those complications can be controlled.

I agree with everyone else, I don't thing gender factors into the "wrongness".

While I don't agree with it, I do think there is more of a stigma if a woman is a serial cheater than if a man is, at least here in the States. I don't know about other cultures. I think a person who cheats in every relationship has a problem and should seek help via therapy and maybe medication. But I also think these people tend be selfish or have a very powerful need to control, so that makes it difficult for them to think they need help, or to accept help when the do seek it.

But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."

I tend to believe it is more of an attention thing .. for if ya not getting what ya need at home [ fulfilled in all ways you expect ] then wandering is just a supplement >> rarely do affairs last ,,, for in the back of the mind of the chosen one ,, the one the cheater goes for ,, always in back of mind >> " am I next to be cheated on " ?

Just a thought .

Its wrong IMO either way. If your going to cheat or feel those urges, have some class and either tell your partner how you feel or leave the relationship first. I found out my wife had an affair 3 months ago and blames me for it. I accept my part in having a not so desireable marriage, but I cant wrap my mind around her having an affair. Its like someone dropped a bomb on my head...it sucks...She says she is Christian and in all her emails to the other man she and he would quote scripture! HA!
