My boyfriend told me yesterday that is seems like he is way more into me than I am into him. I asked him why he said/thought this. He says he feels like he's chasing me, and more calling, texting, asking.... I want to reciprocate more, but I want to do more than just call, text, email, or extend invitations. Any ideas on other little things or more date ideas? Thanks.

Have you ever heard about the "love languages"? Everyone shows love differently. My husband likes to get things for me to show he loves me, I like to do things for others to show I love them. Some people like to give (and recieve) praise for little things. There are several others, but I can't remember them all off the top of my head. It can get frustrating when two people speak different love languages. Not impossible for them to get along, they just need to understand that they speak different languages.
Thanks for this!

Your description sounds as though he's insecure. From experience, things that boost his sense of security are to increase his self-esteem (that's #1!) and show him genuine affection frequently.

He holds the key to increasing his self-esteem: intellectual or artistic classes, exercising, self-defense classes, writing, finding some activities that he can do & feel good about is crucial. As he does this, and you're still showing him love & affection, he will feel much better.

Very best wishes to you!

If you fold laundry, tuck a love note in a folded pair of socks or in a pocket. If you make dinner, cut a heart into a biscuit or on top of a pie. Mail him a love letter, or just a blank pc of paper with your perfume on it. Tuck a note into his windshield wipers. Set up a scavenger hunt with clues leading to more clues leading to xyz (xyz being whatever you want...candle lit dinner, popcorn and a movie on the couch, whatever).

Everytime I pack my husband his lunch I take one small bite out of the corner...the first time I did it he looked at me very strangly but i simply told him that was my "love bite" and when he sat down to eat he would see my "love bite" and know I am thinking about him....I know it's silly but maybe you can try something like that.

I love some of these ideas and am quite interested in finding out more about love languages.

Hope it helps loveperfect. I am certainly going to start putting more effort into my relationship.
