For as long as I can remember, ever since the accident, I have felt emotionally numb, when compared with the rest of the human race. I mean I'm 26 years old, and I have never even had a real girlfriend, if that tells you anything. Until now, that is, on december 1st, last year, when my dad was in the hospital for surgery, I crashed at a friend of mines, and, lemme just say, after a candle-lit italian dinner, we kinda hit it off, during a movie, never actually got too physical tho. My question is, how can I make this work, and not screw it up? I have gotten closer to this girl than I have to any other person, I dont even tell very many family members that I love them, thats how bad it is. What would be the best way for me to approach this? Please help.

Take it slowly and try your hardest to express your feelings.. it doesn't have to be 'said'.. a gesture, loving touch and loving smiles can go a long way.

Then I'm probably doing good, for now, I mean she didnt seem to object any, when I put my arm around her. My main question now is, when will I know, when we are, "in a relationship", so to speak?
