Him being my husband. He has been really quiet and withdrawn for about 2 weeks. He's been having a Crohn's flare for about that long. But when he's sick like that he usually talks about it. Now he sits alone watching T.V.. It's really worrying me. When he's not being super quiet he's on my case on my son's case he's irritated and in a bad mood. I think he's depressed. I can tell something ain't right with him. He's usually very loving and wants to be intimate (well when he's sick he don't want to do the intimatcy thing and that's understandable) but lately he has'nt said more than a handful of words to me. I think his family's coments about his physical apperance is getting to him. They always say "R, you look bad" or "I don'tknw what your going to do if you get any skinnier" They don't realize that making remarks on someones thinness is as hurtful as telling someone they look fat in those jeans. He's just sad in the eyes. I tried to ask him what's going on in that head and he always says nothing. But I can tell that there is. I'm really worried about him. I know how hard depression can be. But he one of those people who won't get help for mental issues.
