I cant believe how careful you really have to be when it comes to emotionally bonding with anybody. I would have rather physically bonded. I think that would be easier to get over. I have never seeked out any help or support of this nature in my life but I dont reveal to my family and friends my innermost thoughts except to one person who has totally brushed me off after convincing me he would never do that.

I'm assuming someone betrayed your confidence. I am sorry for your pain. I hope you wont allow that to stop you from allowing others to love you.
Thanks for this!

I have felt the same.. the betrayal is hard to get over.
I hope like Jenkins says, you are able to allow others to love you and that you can trust again.

James did this to me... And my best friend (not now) broke my trust. I can understand that it hurts.

it can be hard to bounce back from but it is very possible. bond slowly, there is no need to rush, especially if you would like it to be a lasting relationship

I m sure I wont have a problem with allowing someone to love me but it will be a long time before I ever share intimate deep emotions with anybody.

I'm so sorry that you've been betrayed like that. It's so hard to open up, and I can completely empathize with that. It's especially hard to open up when it's thrown back at you for whatever reason.

I'm so sorry. I hope you learn to trust again, and that person earns it!
Thanks for this!
