Most of you know about my oldest son's violent tendencies and my grandmother's refusal to anything to get him help. Well something happened Monday at school that has changed her mind, I hope.
Well, he spit out of anger at either one of the teachers or the aids, I'm not sure why he got angry but when he he spit the 3 adults restrained him. I don't know the teachers version of the method they used, but my kid was covered in bruises. He had 3 on his trap muscel area on the left side one in the same area on his right side. A big one on his chin several between his shoulder blades, what looks like grabbing bruises on his arm above his elbow. At home I told him to show what they did. He grabbed his big teddy bear by the shoulders and shook it hard several times then put it face down in the floor grabbed it by the back of the head and slammed its face in the floor. He then put his knee between it's shoulders and pulled it arms back and up. I don't know what to do about it. What he played out with that bear looked like police hold. But what he said to them when they let him up is why my grandma is rushing to get him help. He told the aids that restrained him hat he was going to bring a knife to school and stab them. He was suspended and I'm sure the faculty is leary of him So, I have been calling child p-docs and so far there are 2 that I have talked to that seem to be what he needs.

From beginning to end that's some incident! If calm, serious minds prevail, an incident like that can lead to good things. I hope that will be the case.

All the best to you, your son, and your whole family, Thunderbear

Hello thunderbear,

Those bruises are not unusual for someone who is fighting against being restrained. I've had to deal with autistic kids and their strength is phenominal.

When they are riled they are capable of the strength of at least 3 grown men and that is scary.

I really hope he gets the help he needs and the medication he needs as well. remember we are here for you at any time thunder.
