I've made my decision... the two of us will just see how it works.. we don't want to give up... and the thought of being without each other is unbearable. Soooo we'll see how this all plays out... we've still gotta finish school before we marry, that was always decision.... before we get too super serious we wanna make sure we've finished our educations. So, really people, thanks for the enthusiasm, feel free to keep commenting. Although I might not reply for a while :P

I do think there has to be an element of shared spirituality for any relationship to deepen and continue, as each person deepens their faith and moves forward. It doesn't guarantee success, but without it, failure is close by.

Why not take turns visiting each other's places of worship while you finish school? Education is rarely a bad thing. Good wishes!

I don't see how she can believe that you won't go to heaven. You are BOTH believing in the SAME GOD, right??? Her God isn't any different than YOUR God, is it??? At least I didn't think so. i might be wrong.

So if you believe in the same God, why WOULDN'T you go to heaven?

Nother thing I forgot to mention. I talked to her about that, me not going to heaven thing, and it turns out I was wrong... he he.. ooops. :P and nonmormons aren't allowed to enter in an LDS temple. But there is something liike a discussion I could have to better underrstand her faith. It's like the thing where people wanting to join take a class for a week to see what they believe. But you don't necessarily have to join the LDS church afterwords. It's just your choice. So yeah, I'll try that out maybe for her and I could bring her to the catholic church on any Sunday when she wants to see what it's like. But once again, we'll see how it all goes. Thanks everyone.
Thanks for this!
