So I'm at a point where I am trying to get over someone, but I'm not even sure where we stand. He is on vacation and won't be back until next Saturday. We are supposed to have a talk when he gets back. I don't really have a question I just need to say that I feel terrible. I've never had to get over a break up before, but me and the guy were never together to begin with. But it feels like a break up to me because of poor communication. He thought we were just friends and I thought we were dating. Now he's on vacation and I'm stuck with my thoughts. Yet, no matter how hard I try I can't get mad at him. He's actually a nice guy and not a jerk. This sucks! It would be so much easier if he was mega jerk.

You've gained clarification he thought it was friendship...I'm confused what you mean about not knowing where you stand?
