My boyfriend of 1 year and almost 3 months are on "break". We're not going to see eachother for about a week, which isnt a long time i guess... But i told him that i dont think it alone would change anything. I told him we need to talk more...

Do breaks really do anything to help the relationship?

sometimes they do but it still will come down to communication. also be very specific that the break isnt so you can see other ppl unless thats what you want.

I'm not sure what I would call a week...maybe a blink...

Breaks I think could be helpful...could allow you to take a step back and think through what ever issues you are having...I would agree with bridgie regarding some kind of boundaries in place.

Our "break" is really just no hanging out. We're still together. Same rules apply, sorta thing.
Tomorrow he said we can take a break from our "break" (lol)
And im anxious beyond belief.
I'm so scared he's going to leave me...
