On msn, I can't really talk. I don't have much to say. I'm stupid and I am a retard. I might as well not go on msn because I get a friend moaning at me and I can't talk and most of my "friends" ignore me. Grrr!!! I'm annoyed because someone complained about me apparently copying what they said. Fk sakes! Some people annoy me.

Not having something to say to people doesn't mean your a retard. It is said people who don't fit in with normal group of people, have more complicated brains(more creative than normal) . Stuff that interests you may not interest others And it's completely normal. I'm sure there's a group which you perfectly fit into, you're just wasting your time with the wrong group. By the way what's wrong with copying someone.people copy all the time but they want to take credit for themselves. That's why they tell you not to copy.
wish you a relaxed mind.

Try a crowded coffee shop. Find out when peak hours are. Then when you have to ask to share a table with someone you instantly have people to talk with. Find people who look friendly, and who don't seem to be too close already. It may take some practice to find the right people, and even on days it doesn't pan out, at least you have a good drink and you were around people. Most people will want to do the talking anyway and you just have to seem interested.

Awesome...from now on I'm going to blame my inability to sustain conversation on my "complicated brain". It's not social anxiety and lack of worldliness, it's my super creative brain getting in the way. Thanks! ;-)

happycheeks: Don't feel bad. I find chat programs a more unnatural form of dialoguing than anything else. There's too much pressure to keep up a rapid-fire conversation; I think thoughtful people's brains short-circuit when they're under the gun like that.
Thanks for this!
