I have this guy friend that I have a huge crush on. I realize there is probably not a chance in anything that it will ever go beyond a friendship. I got the sense he was having a bad week a couple of weeks ago so I wrote him a letter. Basically saying I value our friendship you are my best friend and such. It ended by saying I get the feeling you need an atta boy so this is my atta boy to you. Your life matters to me. I had told him I'd bring him dinner to work so I brought him supper and the letter. Well he didn't get off work until 10 that night and he knew I had to get up early for class so he didn't call. I didn't expect him to either. Anyway the next day he called me 4x's and since then calls me every night after work and sometimes during the day on his day's off. What do I do? This makes me think that maybe he has the same feelings for me but I don't want to have the define the relationship talk with him with out some major clues. When is it appropriate to have the dtr talk?

There's really no harm in asking him how he feels is there?

jannie, i would just enjoy the moment for now. if you two start seeing alot of each other and are thinking about an exclusive relationship, then I'd get into "the talk".
if it were me, right now i'd just enjoy the cool feelings of newness and excitement. ![]() KD
