over the past two years i have used a few different sites and have met some great people, some who will be great friends for life and two that I have had romantic interest in.
I have probably chatted to over 350 different guys and met in person 30....and dated more than once 6..... pretty reasonable odds i think

I don't think it is a scary as everyone is implying..use sensible judgement and always remember that if you don't want to do something then you really don't have too!

Thank you everyone...I've been talking to a couple of different people...they seem interested, but I realized real quick that its VERY VERY EASY to weed out the ones that just want to "score", its kinda funny how easy that is to do....but a couple of them, one in particular, we have hit it off rather well. He's a lot like me and the other one, well he is like me too...so who knows...maybe it will go somewhere and maybe it won't, but at least I'm trying....or that's how I feel anyway. I'm just glad that I'm putting myself back out there again.

I'm with you. I've tried four sites, have been online on and off for over two years, and have had tons of first dates. Only one match went on past that and then only on to a third date. I wish I could say that I remained friends with the guys but, unfortunately, that hasn't happened except for one guy. I'm obviously the common factor here but not quite sure what the issue is.
