We both decided we should get our GED (Grade 12 Equivalency), even though he's been employed at the same place for 10 years, and I am laid off but have over 20 years' office experience. It was primarily his push, so I looked into it and found out all the info. He's on shift and normally sleeps til noon, the course is pre-test is 9:30am-12:30am. I explained to the counselor about his shift work and she said no problem, he can write it at a later time of day, any day, or even in two 1.5 stints if he likes. For myself, I signed up right away for the Friday at 9:30 and told her hubby or I would get back to her to arrange when he would like to do his. It's offered every week. When I explained it all to him, he hit the roof, that it was his idea, and here I go, off to do MY test and to hell with him. He expected that I should have said "We're going this Friday at 9:30". He expressed that I don't really care what happens to him because of that. Then the whole thing about how I don't care or make him do things to better himself, and out the door he goes to work, leaving me feeling like a pile of crap. Every other day, it's either obsessing about the future (not the employment part, he says he knows that will work out for me) ~ about if we'll ever be able to buy a house, get out of debt, on and on. Then he apologizes for being so heavy and on and on it goes. A lecture about something every other day, followed by apologies. He just trashed me out again.

That really blows. I know the feeling about getting trashed for something that no one else in the world would have thought of. Don't for a damn second get down on yourself. He has some anger management issues and needs to get some help. You don't deserve to be in a emotionally abusive relationship. You have to tell him that he needs to find a councelor. Alot of people have those problems with money and such but they don't go treating their wives like that. It will tear you up inside. I can see that it already is.
Much hugs, support and courage to you. PM me anytime you want.
