Perhaps I'm just paranoid by nature. I was just realizing how men in my life keep giving me free things. Mu boss keeps giving me free botles of wine., one of the main manager comp's me dollars off, another one is always trying to give me sweets. This wine buying gave me a free prosecco I have too many people in my life who enable me if I were to become an addict

Hi there.
![]() My guess would be they have an interest in you, but that's only my guess. I don't think it's appropriate whatsoever for your boss to be giving you wine. I think that's unprofessional. ![]() Do forgive me, but I don't understand what you mean by your "main manager comp's me dollars off." You'd have to clarify for me before I could speak further. If you don't feel comfortable accepting these things, I'd be straightforward and tell them that, especially if you feel like they might be a risk to your health. ![]() I hope I was of a little help. ![]()

It sounds like you might be a "real hottie." Men naturally jump out their butts over hotties. More than a few men--me included--have made fools of themselves over good looking women.
From what you say here, I don't necessarily see a problem in all that is going on. If these men are expecting favors in return for what appears to be kindness that is another thing entirely. If no special favors are expected, I think you should just say: "thanks for the wine." But, if they are trying to get you into the sack against your desires, there is a problem and you may want to start politely refusing gifts. |

'comping a couple dollars' basically means they reduce the price a few dollars on top of my discount . . . AS for my main boss I think he just sees me as a dughter figure- he's also married with a daughter my age . . .
