I have so many problems I don't even know where to begin. I am so mean to my friend, He is my best friend and he is absolutely wonderful and I don't feel like I deserve him as a friend, He's extremely nice and understanding and I haven't been giving him the same respect and I just treat him horribly lately.. I yell at him, I call him names, I get frustrated with him because he has ADD and he's extremely forgetful and I'm clingy and strange and I get so scared that people will leave me because of my friends from the past who have treated me like **** and left me behind, standing by myself.. I have no idea why I am pushing him away.. He's the most amazing person I have ever met.. We've been fighting on and off for the last month and it's been getting worse and worse.. I hurt him so bad today and he's really upset.. Now he doesn't want to speak with me anymore and I just.. don't know what to do anymore.. :/
Why do I do this to him, why do I sabotage my friendship with him..Why do I do this... |

I don't know about you but as soon as I begin to think something is a good thing in my life I start being scared it will end. I think it sets up a kind DON'T LEAVE ME/GO AWAY cycle. This will eventually drive the other person away. If they really care they will go off mumbling to themselves and shaking their head. Right now I just avoid relationships altogether. My therapist calls it issues of rejection and abandonment. I hope someone might have something to suggest. Good Luck!

Maybe one thing you can do in order to save your friendship is to start by speaking to your bff and open up your problems to him. He's your friend I'm sure he'll understand whats your undergoing into right now.... Benefits of telling other people (who is close to you) about your problem may greatly help your relationship with people around you and resolve your issues
