We're an 8 !!!

We were talking this morning hubby and I. And we kinda flowed into a convo about our relationship. I guess I felt I just needed a bit of reassurance in knowing how things looked from his stance. So I said on a scale of 1-10 and ten being were Great and 1 we're Eww. He said in his opinion things are going really good and he felt we are an 8!!!! I am absolutely thrilled with this. It just goes to show that if your willing to work at it and compromise and your commited to your relationship it can work. But you both have to be willing to do this. And alot of times it feels one sided. And alot of times it feels like one person is carrying the other persons load. But to me ( and this is my opinion) that is what being married is about. Thats what those vows were / are about . I remeber almost a year ago when it seemed like my marriage was at its ropes end. And now its almost come full circle. Its not been easy , its not been nice at times, but its been enlightening,at times fun, and most of all a time to grow for us. And thats led us to understand eachother deeper and more fully than we have ever been able to before. Its been a blessing for us.

I hope that anyone who is in the dire straits that my husband and I were and have been in. And your commited , dont give up thru those rough spots ok? Keep plugging thru them You'll feel better for it in the end.

Thank you tryin2beme for your words of encouragement..... many many times I feel as if my man is carrying it all ........... and most time if not all the time he is in the caretaker mode, not the husband mode.... that is something that bothers me but I am afraid yet to bring that up.... he always feels like it is always his fault, and I can't stand that as I must have something to do with it... or I wouldn't feel like this?????? Talk about a confuddled mind. and its time for a nap here.... can't quite think straight.. but again thanks for your words they made me think and that is always a good thing...Linda
