I didnt think this would bother me as it has. My GF, met another guy when we were on the rocks and we broke it off not long ago. Now she has the new guy and Vday flat out sucks now (not that ever liked the holiday), but it hurts, that she didnt skip a beat and I have been stuck feelin broken. I cant help but to be very bitter toward her.

Hey, it ok to feel bitter. Its part of the 'grieving' I'd say. Same as sadness, anger, disappointment and hurt.

But it WILL get easier. These things always do as time goes by. You'll meet another lady and she will hopefully make you wonder why you felt like this now... Take it easy tomorrow. Do something you like to do, or even do something that she didn't like to do that you did! Take care of yourself.

I go back and forth with bitterness and not depressed any more but sometimes sad then OK with it all. Its been 2 months. We were together for a year. She had been meeting other guy and finally this guy a week prior of saying she wanted a future together. She has major NPR that I discovered after! Why I never looked into her actions earlier. Its just the most disrespectful thing anyone has ever done to me MUCH less from someone I loved. She never owned up to anything other than to blame me for being emotional and my feelings were eratic and ended up making me the reason she left...yadda yadda yadda.

I finally today send her a very direct email stating that I deserve better and she did the most effed up thing a girl to do, and I never want her in life as friends as long as I live. Basically ended it with I dont want to have people in my life like her in any capacity. end of the day.....I felt better for it and mean.

Oh, NPD. If that is the case, for real, just learn to recognize its signs and symptoms so as to avoid getting in the same situation again.
