This could get interesting...

You know about classmates.com? About a year ago I joined and found one friend from HS to correspond with, a woman. She was my best friend's girl friend in HS. She and I were friends, but not BF/GF. We went out a few times and went skiiing together. That was it. Nothing sexy whatsoever.

It turns out she loves overseas travel for fun, as I do, too. So, I mentioned my wife and I are going to Africa with a group next July. My HS friend thought this was too much fun to pass up and signed up. She is going to be in the same small travel group as my wife and I.

My friend is married, but her husband does not like to travel, so she either goes with friends or by herself. My wife knows all about it, but it is feeling mighty strange that I will be traveling with my wife AND a woman I have not seen in over 30 years who could have been a girl friend had things been a bit different back then.

kvinne I think it seems strange too... this woman kinda of infringed on your trip. I wonder about things like that. Especially since she is leaving her hubby behind. I dunno... I find it might put you in an uncomfortable position and make your vacation less fun. Then again.. maybe she's OK and it will be fun. Who knows?

Hmmmmm I am agreeing with Willow here too....seems kind of strange that she would be going on the same trip. Oh well if you are ok with it and so is your wife, it may be a great trip. Just be sure that both of you are ok with her going.

Keep us posted....could be like a soap opera here oops!...I am teasing but it is intriguing.

oops!

It is slightly less weird because you are going as part of a group, so she has just joined the group rather than "tagging along" with you.

It would be really weird if you simply said you and your wife were going to africa, and she said she loves africa can she join you...

Of course the key here is what is in her head. Is she excited about going to africa with a group that includes an old friend she hasn't seen in awhile, or is excited about being in africa with you?

Let us know how this turns out... and have a great trip!

Please research anything I suggest before believing...
