Parenting. Some days it doesn't seem worth the effort: Your toddler uses the toilet as a trash can, your teen blows off curfew only to blow up at you, your adult child ignores wise advice and winds up in a fix.

Other days, there's nothing sweeter: Your baby says "Dada" for the first time, your adolescent stands up to peer pressure, your grown child gets his first job, your "baby" has her own baby.

Yes, parenting is a challenge, but it is also a wonderful blessing... I would like to take this Sunday to honor Moms and Dads every where for the important role they play in their children's lives.
