... for someone you talk to on the internet (who has in drunken moments flirted with you)

To call themselves after your real life man (a guy I'm seeing semi-seriously, see what happens)

In their fictitious internet world?

So I am seeing this guy ... Nick. This is someone I've known for years, had ups n downs with, he is amazing ... most of the time ... he has helped me thru a lot ... he is a DJ, very cool person, business oriented, successful.

Guy #2 ... we shall call Scott because that's his real name too ... became a good friend, been a great support, met on net, when he gets drunk gets a bit telling me i'm hot and lovely etc, but he is very kind and i feel is pretty much a good man.

He's now on two sex sites, both calling himself "NickCA".

He has admitted he felt there was something "subconscious" going on when he chose his name.

I just find it creepy. I asked him to change his name, as he has spent a lot of time talking me to my relationship about MY Nick ... I don't know, I just wish he woul call himself something else.

Like, not my boyfriend's name????

The guy Is it weird ...

yep - seems a litle creepy, but I wouldn't expend too many cells worrying about it if I were in your shoes.

If I may offer my opinion, though; I think it's reasonable that you wish he would call himself something else, but I don't think it's your place to ask him to do that. He also might find it a bit creepy that you're spotting him on other sites and confronting him about his name choice. I've known you for a while now and I certainly don't think that you're the type to cyberstalk, but if I were in his position, I might feel that way, especially after you asked him to change his name. He needs to have some independence and privacy, especially seeing as though you're not his girlfriend. Just my 2c - and know that you are free to disagree without worrying about hurting my feelings.

Good luck,
LMo

thank you LMo ... you are right, not really worth brain cells Is it weird ...

But he did TELL me what he was calling himself ... I didn't even have to ask ... (not seen him in other sites, don't do that kinky web scene myself)

I suppose it is weirdly amusing ... Is it weird ...
