I posted in another thread and in my Visitor Messaging area because I am so angry and disgusted I can barely think straight. Here is what I wrote:

I don't get my mother's perfectionist bullcrap. Everything has to be perfect and if it isn't she drives everyone around her **** crazy.

I don't get why my mother thinks everything that comes out of her mouth is gold. If you're sick, she's an MD. If your tooth hurts, she's a DDS. If you muse about the stars, she's a f-ing astronomer.

Today she's an expert on refrigerators. She's also rude to her neighbor. She slams her cupboard doors.

I hate her.

My mother is a **** and a pig. She touches the cat's privates and she is the biggest **** on the planet.

When she eats she makes more noise than a pig at trough.

I hate her.

Since I can't have a blog for my feelings I'll use this instead.

I hate her pig guts. She drove my father to his grave and now she talks about herself like she is some f-ing saint. She talks about how she did this and that for him. What a liar. She nagged him constantly and did nothing but insult his family.

I HATE HER.

Now I'm laughing. She couldn't perfectionist coerce the refrigerator into being repaired and now she is swearing. B-atch.

My deepest condolences. I have a problem mother too who also put her husband in the grave by overworking and over stressing him. Also, she was very, very cold to her children. I don't think I will ever recover.

Get as far away as you can emotionally. Don't let your inner hate for her run your life.

Sounds like your mom is my mom.

I've been in counseling for years. The hate never wanes. She constantly evokes anger. She eclipses Satan.

My mother is Satan. I'm sure of it.

She uses big words because she thinks she looks intelligent. She is the classic antagonist. If I say black, she says white.

I hate her.

She is the queen of twisting the knife.

I too share such a feeling. It is good for you to vent because it helps you to grow away from the mother/child control module so to speak. Just like a festering wound, you have to rid yourself of this which can be such an arbitrary situation. Best of success and mental health to you.

You are certainly not alone in your feelings. I suspect Hallmark would make some money if they were able to market Mother's Day cards with this theme--but of course, I guess most folks would just not send any card at all.

I don't know how old you are, but I gather you are still living at home and are aching for independence. In all fairness to her, she might be trying to help. My mother is that way (knowing everything) but she has some serious psychological issues. So, yours might have some issues, too. Why do you think she is slamming the cabinet doors?

Are you in therapy? That's a great place to deal with this kind of issue. And, of course, you can vent here, also.
