I know this is going to sound very bizzare to most but I truly think Im different! Im 25 years old and for my whole life I've always felt really different. Im very observant and tend to notice alot of things others don't. I feel like Im not doing what Im supposed to be doing in this lifetime. I don't have but one friend, I wonder if the same thoughts and same tastes and smells and what I see, are being the same for someone else at the same moment I am. Does anyone get this at all??? I feel like an alien from another planet and time period!!!
I dont think its genetics, coz my parents are not like that,,,,but i have a feeling my cousins have been in the same thing that i am so i am optimistic and i think i can grow up more and be like them(thats the voice i say to myself) cuz i see them doing fine in everything,,,,,,i feel the time we r living in is very hard i hope i can fastforward i dnt find any pleasure in doing things anymore except playing alone my ps i would give up anything to accept life and get out of this i dnt know what it is.... PS: Nothing is parmanent in this life!

nescafeman: I read your post carefully. It didn't sound bizarre and I don't think you're different. Of course, we're all different. You tell yourself you're not doing what you're supposed to in this life. As far as I know, nobody is "supposed to do" anything. No, no one is doing the same as you at the same moment. The only way that would be possible was if they lived in your body.

Go ahead and enjoy your fantasy of feeling like 'an alien from another planet and another time period." If you don't enjoy it, change it. You're 25 and think you can "grow up more." You are fully grown, so that sounds like you want to change in some way. How? Grown ups have jobs, support themselves, pay their own way. Do you do that?

If you want to talk further with me, reply in my topic "Differences: Psychiatric diagnoses and physica ones" in the Forum "Other Mental Health Discussion." That is the only sure fire way I know that you'll get a reply.
