So, my girlfriend and I have been dating a while and we love each other. It seemed a little early to be saying the "love" word when she brought it up, but I quickly realized that I love her completely. Although we have recently expressed we love each other, I have had a consistent worry since the beginning of our relationship that my feelings for her are stronger than her feelings for me. The only reason I believe this is because she broke up with her previous boyfriend (a rather dull guy) because, in her words, "he liked me more than I liked him". With OCD, this thought will pop in my mind at any time and can ruin my day! I really would love to stop and just trust that we love each other equally. Our relationship is going very well, and we are enjoying spending a ton of time together. Although my depressive mind gets in the way sometimes, I can usually recognize what an unreasonable worry is and talk myself out of it but for some reason this worry of "unequal love" won't leave my mind. Any insight?

I think all you can do is accept that she loves you and let it play out. Practice to thought stopping technics and just let things be the way they are. Yes, you might get hurt, but then again it may be the love of your life. Quit letting the depression rule your thoughts. I know that is easier to say than to do. Good luck to you.
