Hi, All,
In reflecting on the recent letters from the old college boyfriend, from whom I've rec'd two long letters, I have come to the conclusion, perhaps prematurely, that he is shallow and self-absorbed. The last letter was 5 or 6 pages, all about himself, and his own trivia....nothing really that reflected on our contact, or anything I had shared with him after 30 years!
I guess my "red flag" radar antennae are up, but I sense this fella is all into himself, thus, his lack of marriage or relationships for so long.
I do expect to receive another letter from him, but no expecting anything different, thus, confirming why I abandoned the relationship with him when I was so young.
Men who don't listen or communicate beyond themselves.
Patty
