Exactly how can we find men who are truly genuine and respectful as opposed to the ones who're just pretending to be so and in the end turn out to be either using us for fun or just plain abusive?

Especially when it comes to dealing with the past... How to find out the men who will genuinely get on with life rather than dwell in the past?

Question is applicable to when we find love or in case of an arranged marriage (this will be more difficult as we won't be able to interact well enough to find a guy's true nature).

Really just plain confused

I know this sounds cliche, but you don't find them. If you looking you find the needy men, they are looking for someone to cling onto, use, and abuse. It's a pattern they have, and they will latch onto any living being.

I would say be patient, let someone unsuspecting find you, maybe it's a guy you pass every day, or an old school friend you had a crush on. There is a guy out there you just have to wait.

Good luck

I agree with the above poster. I also think over time you will learn to tell which guys are the good ones and which ones are the not so good ones.
Thanks for this!
